The terms covering Seminarly.
Last updated: 27 April 2026
These terms cover your use of seminarly.ai and the Seminarly desktop app for macOS. By submitting the waitlist form or using the app, you agree to them.
The waitlist
Submitting your email is optional and creates no obligation on either side. We may invite you when access opens, in the order we choose, or not at all. We may decline access at our discretion — for example, if we suspect abuse or fake submissions.
The app
Seminarly is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. We will do our best to ship a working app, but we cannot promise:
- That every recording will capture cleanly.
- That transcription will be accurate.
- That AI-generated notes will reflect the recording correctly. Always verify before relying on them for anything important.
- That third-party services the app depends on (your AI provider, your operating system, your audio drivers) will keep working.
You bring your own AI provider account; usage costs you incur with that provider are between you and them.
Recording responsibilities
Audio recording laws vary by country and, in some cases, by state or province. Some jurisdictions require the consent of every party to a conversation before it can be recorded. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you and to the people you record. Seminarly does not require, request, or verify that consent — that is on you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit fake, automated, or impersonating waitlist entries.
- Disrupt, probe, or attempt to reverse-engineer the website or app.
- Use the app to record audio in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
Your content
Audio you record, transcripts the app produces from it, and notes you generate or write all belong to you. Seminarly does not claim any rights over your recordings, transcripts, or notes.
Our content
The Seminarly name, logo, website copy, and the app itself are the property of Seminarly. You may link to the website freely.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Seminarly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or the app — including missed recordings, lost notes, or AI errors. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us, which for the waitlist and the app today is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will move the "last updated" date forward and, where appropriate, we will notify waitlist members by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, where Seminarly is operated.
